Fairgrounds and Event Center Manager
Curry County is accepting applications for a full time Fairgrounds and Event Center Manager. This position serves as manager for the County Fairgrounds and Event Center.  The Manager plans, promotes, supervises and conducts all events and activities at the County Fairgrounds and Event Center.  Responsible for public relations, marketing, scheduling events, budget management, supervision of staff and facility upkeep and development at the direction of the Fair Board.  As a County employee, this position represents the mission and interests of the Fair Board Members under the direction of the Fair Board Chairperson.  

Appraiser Trainee Position 
Curry Count is accepting application for a full time Property Appraiser Trainee in the Assessor's Department. Acts as support staff to the Assessor’s Office under direct supervision of the Deputy Assessor.  The Property Appraiser Trainee performs residential appraisals of urban and rural properties under supervision of a lead appraiser for tax assessment purposes. High school graduation or equivalent with additional course work in economics, business administration, real estate or related field as required by the State of Oregon to qualify as a County Property Appraiser. Deputy IT Director

Curry County is accepting applications for a full time Deputy IT Director. The primary role of the IT Deputy Director is to ensure effective operations and services throughout the County IT systems. This is a hands-on position, with the Deputy Director managing the IT Service Desk and IT operations as assigned by the IT Director. A candidate for this position should have a High School Diploma, a GED, or equivalent, a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, and three years of progressively responsible experience in providing IT Services, or any combination of education and experience that would provide the applicant with the required knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the job. Communication Deputy

The Curry County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a full time Communications Deputy.  The Communications Deputy answers emergency and service calls from the public and dispatches police, fire and medical units.  Special requirements for the position include: applicants must be at least 18 years of age; have a valid driver license; type 45 wpm; high school graduation or equivalent; willingness and ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.  Experience or certification preferred but not mandatory.  Salary:  $4123 – 5262/month plus excellent benefits. Camp Host

Curry County Parks is seeking volunteer, contracted, seasonal camp host(s) for the County park system.  The County provides an RV space, with full hookups.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting campers, grounds and facility maintenance, cleaning restrooms, and assisting with check-in.  Road Deputy (Certified Preferred)

 Curry County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for a Road Deputy.  Enforces state and local traffic, criminal, and civil laws and ordinances.  Patrols roads, waterways, and business and residential areas.  One continuous year of experience as a law enforcement officer, or graduation from a two year college with an Associate’s degree in Law Enforcement; or any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training.  Must have a valid driver license.  DPSST certification preferred.  Salary:  $4393 – 5607/month depending on experience and certification.  Includes excellent benefits and retirement.   Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
