Zoning and Building Code Concerns 

Enforcement of Zoning and Building Codes including non-permitted structures; non-permitted activities; illegal camping or residences on private property; grading violations; health and safety issues.  
Some of the Ordinances are as follows:
CCO 2.08.030(1) Building code applies to construction, alteration, moving, demolition, repair, maintenance and work associated with any building or structure, except those located in a public way.
CCO 2.08.080(4) Failure to comply with Stop Work Order
CCO 2.08.100(1) Building plans and permits required.
CCO 11.3.323 Erosion Prevention & Sedimentation Control Per Required
CCO 11.3.052 Conditional Use Permit Required for Activity or Structure on Private Property Forestry Grazing-FG

CCO        11.7.040                     Trailer, camping or recreational vehicle being used as a residence.


                                         Community Safety Concerns 

Safety concerns include unsafe/uninhabitable structures; assisting of Local Fire Districts with burn permit enforcement; burn barrel enforcement; fire hazard abatement and issues involving improper hazardous material storage issues. 

Some of the ordinances are as follows:

6.01.020 Solid waste that may be toxic, infectious, explosive, or otherwise hazardous.
ORS 478.960 (1)  Burning of commercial, industrial, domestic waste, land clearing debris, burning of field without permit from Fire Department. 
6.03.040 Unlawful deposit of rubbish or other solid waste on land or water.


                                    Environment and Health Concerns

Enforcement of Article Six of Curry County Ordinances, which includes solid waste matters, offensive odors, abandoned properties, abandoned vehicles on private properties, Noise Nuisance Ordinance, littering and property safety concerns.

Some of the ordinances are as follows:

6.01.030 (1) (a) Putrescible Waste Improperly Store or not removed.
6.01.030 (1) (b) Accumulation of solid waste material conducive to rodent propagation.
6.01.030 (1) (f) Solid waste that may be toxic, infectious, explosive, or otherwise hazardous.
6.03.040 Unlawful deposit of rubbish or other solid waste on land or water.
ORS 164.805 (1)(a) Offensive Littering, creating stench or degrades the beauty of a property.
