Curry County Road Construction Projects


The contracted County Road Striping Project is expected to begin Tuesday, August 6, 2019 and run two to three weeks barring weather delays.  Work will begin in the north county area and progress south.  This annual striping project includes painting the centerline and fog lines on various roads throughout Curry County.  Motorists are advised to use caution when observing the striping equipment and to avoid crossing freshly painted lines. A contracted paving project is scheduled to begin on various County roads in the Gold Beach area on Monday, July 15, 2019.  The project consists of overlays on Nesika Road and Hillside Acres Road the week of July 15th,   Wedderburn Loop the week of the 22nd, and Brooks Road and Thimbleberry Road the week of the 29th.  Traffic control will consist of flaggers and a pilot car.  Please proceed with caution when driving in the active work zone.  All work is weather dependent and schedules may change.  Please check the Notices and Updates page for a detailed schedule.  If you have any questions, please call the Curry County Road Department at 541.247.7097 or email us here: (Posted 7-10-2019)
