Funding & Support
The fees collected from Dog Licensing, impound fees are used to support the domestic animal needs of our community. Fees pay for emergency animal kenneling, transportation, medical care. Low-cost vaccination clinics and low-cost spay/neuter clinics are also paid out of license revenues and through agreements with non-profit organizations.
License fees and donations also are used to recruit and train disaster volunteers and provide them with training, equipment, and resources to assist with domestic animals during local disasters and emergencies.
