Food Handler Cards

Food handler training in Curry County will be offered through the Curry County Health Department. There will be two methods available to receive the training. You can study the food handlers manual and take the examination, or you may read the food handlers manual, attend a class, and take the examination. The class lasts about 1 hour with the exam following.

Manuals are available at all three County Health Department offices. The fee for the food handler training certificate is $10. Certification will remain valid for three years, and will be valid anywhere in the state. Employees that have a current food handler's card from counties that now have the training in place will meet this requirement.
